a couple of days ago I saw Crazy Heart and so I liked both the performance of Jeff Bridges , do not hesitate to go see True Grit, the which I think is an excellent recommendation for this week's pre-Oscars (nominated for something that many). Here 's info, the trailer and an extra for those who already had the chance to see it.

After the murder of his father at the hands of mercenary Tom Chany, a farmer of 14 years girl named Mattie Rose sets out to capture the murderer. To help, she hires the toughest U.S. Marshal may find a man with "real strength", Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn. Mattie insists on accompanying Cogburn, whose laziness, drinking and personality as objectionable do not increase their faith in him. Against his wishes she joins them on their way to Indian Nations in search of Chaney. They are joined by Texas Explorer LaBeouf, who wants to Chaney for their own purposes. The unlikely trio finds danger and surprises on the way and each will test their "strength."
